GGR takes on Faresin All Electric telehandler

Italian manufacturer Faresin has appointed GGR as the exclusive UK dealer for its 6.26 Full Electric compact Telehandler.

The first three units have arrived at GGR’s premises, with one displayed at the Executive Hire Show today. The unit offers a six metre lift height and 2,600kg maximum lift capacity. Maximum forward reach is 3.1 metres with 900kg and it shares most of its components and structure with the company’s regular 626 diesel model.

Power comes from a standard lithium 80 volt 300Ah battery, with a 400Ah available as an option. The standard battery is said to provide three hours continuous operation or six hours typical usage. GGR chief executive Graeme Riley, said: “We are pleased to be the first to bring yet another exclusive product to the UK market. The introduction of this product is a very exciting prospect for the GGR team. Not only does it allow us to extend our expertise to the wider materials handling market, but it gives us a new avenue for growth.”

Marketing director Daniel Ezzatvar, added: “Over the next few months we are offering the opportunity to demo the new machines at one of our sites.”
