500t lifting towers for Collett

UK transport and heavy lift company Collett has taken delivery of four 125 tonne Enerpac JS-125 incremental lifting towers.

The lifting towers can be combined to lift up to 500 tonnes up to six metres, using sliding and stacking barrels to ensure lifting and lowering operations occur simultaneously whilst maintaining the balance of the load. Features include computer controlled operation, automatic synchronisation of multiple lift points, centre of gravity calculation and up to three percent side load capacities.

The company said that the JS-125s will be ideal for bridge construction and demolition, port crane lifting and top side lifting, or for restricted applications with limited space to operate.
