Heli acquires Robeys-Huet

Belgian crane and access company Heli has acquired access sales and rental company Robeys-Huet.

The Robeys- Huet operation will be fully incorporated into the Heli business, with the company’s base in Enghien - between Brussels and Mons - becoming Heli’s third depot, the others being its head office in Wetteren - near Ghent - and an existing branch in Boom between Antwerp and Brussels.

The Robeys-Huet facility in Enghien will become Heli’s third location

Gunther Van den Hove, Heli sales director, said: “As a result of the takeover of Robeys-Huet, Heli now has a presence in both Flanders and Wallonia. In combination with product knowledge, this geographic expansion brings a variety of benefits for our customers. A wider range, longer business hours, more service and technical assistance, more efficient transport... these are just a few examples.”

Robeys-Huet was established as a small ladder business by the late Paul Robeys and his wife Janine in 1986. Robeys joined the business officially in 1992 and built it into a full service access sales and rental company. Sadly he passed away in 2012 with his son taking over the business at that time - see: Paul Robeys 1948-2012.

Today the company offers a wide range of products for sale and rental from a large number of manufacturers, including Altrex, ATN, Bravi, Denka-lift, Easylift, Genie, Haulotte, Niftylift, Palazzani, Socage, Solide and Sumner lift.
