Blowing in the wind

Two men working from a suspended platform in Florida were given a scare last week after a storm hit as they worked on a high rise building on the coast of Florida.

The two men were filmed working on the construction of the Ritz-Carlton residential building last Thursday when the weather suddenly took a turn for the worst and gale force winds lifted the platform completely clear before it crashed back against the building.

The two men were able to sit down in the platform and hold on throughout the worst of it before eventually climbing to safety on to a nearby balcony with the help of co-workers. Both were reportedly unharmed in the incident with the winds subsiding half an hour later.
