250t Liebherr for Quickline Crane

Canadian crane company Quickline Crane of Alberta, a subsidiary of contractors Builders, has taken delivery of a 250 tonne Liebherr LTM 1250-5.1. All Terrain crane.

The five axle LTM 1250-5.1 features a six section 60 metre main boom, plus a 36 metre bi-fold swingaway extension which can be extended to 50 metres with inserts and offset hydraulically by up to 45 degrees.

Quickline’s new LTM1250-5.1

Eagle Builders specialises in the design, engineering, fabrication and building of precast concrete structures, with Quickline Crane providing all of its heavy lift requirements.

Craig Haan of Quickline said: “We looked at the market projection and what we had coming up for projects and decided now was a good time to purchase a larger crane. We looked at many options but ultimately decided that a 250 tonne mobile crane was the right choice. From both a lifting capacity and mobility within seasonal road bans – This crane checked off the requirements.”

The new LTM 1250-5.1 is the largest crane in the Quickline Crane fleet and will be utilised on larger Eagle Builders projects.
