Kelvin Prince, Southern Cranes & Access director, said: “We are pleased to have the LTM 1160-5.2 join our fleet as this will further strengthen our five axle fleet with one of the strongest cranes of its class having the 180 tonne load test. The LTC 1050-3.1 will further complement our large, varied city class fleet immensely and with the VarioBase solution both cranes are able to carry out jobs which may not have been achievable previously. With Liebherr’s reliability and support we feel these machines will do very well for us.”

Established in 1997, family run Southern Cranes & Access is based in Horsham, West Sussex. It runs a fleet of more than 50 All Terrain and city cranes as well as mobile self-erecting tower cranes and a fleet of scissor lifts, boom lifts and telehandlers from six locations throughout the south east of the UK.
