First LTM 1230-5.1 in England

UK crane rental company APH Cranes has taken delivery of the first 230 tonne Liebherr LTM 1230-5.1 All Terrain crane in England.

Topping the company’s exclusively Liebherr fleet, the new five axle LTM 1230-5.1 features an eight section 75 metre main boom and an 11.5 to 20 metre bi-fold swingaway extension that can offset by up to 40 degrees. Up to three seven metre inserts can be added between the boom nose and swingaway for a tip height of 113 metres.

Features include Liebherr’s VarioBase outrigger set up and VarioBallast variable counterweight systems, while a Stage V compliant engine coupled with the company’s ECOmode and ECOdrive provide emission and fuel saving benefits.
