Kiloutou online used equipment tenders

French international rental group Kiloutou has established a new online used equipment sales platform by private tender.

A sale will be organised each month for around 400 items of equipment. The new sales will be organised with specific blocks of machine types, such as telehandlers, aerial lifts, forklift trucks, generators etc... The move follows the establishment of a dedicated service used equipment sales department.

To support professional buyers in their decision making, each item of equipment has a comprehensive information data sheet, indicating in particular the brand, model, general condition, location, in-service date, mileage and engine hour meter, along with different photos.

The platform will be open to a limited number of international professional buyers, approved by Kiloutou based on the registration forms they submit. The first sale is organised for the 18th September, with others scheduled for 16th October and 13th November.

Second hand equipment sales manager Xavier Panien said: “Initiated in France over four years ago, the Kiloutou Second Hand Equipment service had to keep step with the Kiloutou group's international development. In this context, our digitisation policy now allows us to open up the sale of all our second hand equipment found in our European agencies more broadly via an unprecedented tool for private sales perfectly tailored to the expectations of specialist brokers.”
