Largest single order for Valla

Pick & carry crane manufacturer Valla has received its single largest order in its 75 year history.

The order for a total of 30 electric pick & carry cranes has come from Netherlands based crane, aerial lift and telehandler group Collé Rental & Sales, and comes following its appointment as Valla crane distributor for Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium.The initial order is worth $2.5 million, and includes eight tonne Valla V80Rs, 10 tonne V110Rs, V36Rs and V200Rs. Collè has been offering JMG pick & carry cranes until now.

General manage Frits Collè said: "We believe that market demand for industrial electric pick & carry cranes will remain strong in the years to come, and our partnership with Manitex Valla will enable us to provide a product line that is well known throughout our customer base as a name of quality and reliability in the zero-emission crane market.”

With 15 locations across Netherlands, Germany and Belgium, Collè has a fleet of more than 15,000 machines including, spider, pick & carry, trailer mounted, crawler, scissors, boom and telehandlers, mast lifts.
