Omme goes direct in Germany

Omme has established its own sales subsidiary in Germany, to provide sales, customer service, spare parts service and repairs for Ommelift aerial work platforms in Germany. A central sales and customer service office has been opened in Langenhagen and the company Omme Lift GmbH set up as a wholly owned subsidiary. It officially took over the distribution of Omme trailer and spider lifts from is distributor of 15 years Gustav Bertram.

The company has employed a team of two salesmen, a clerk and a service engineer all of whom have several years experience with Omme’s products. Omme chief executive Harry Lorentsen is the managing director of the new company.

The company is also looking panning to appoint local dealers and service partners and already has candidates in mind. Omme has been selling its products in Germany under the Omme Lift brand since 1982.
