Irish crane rental company East Cork Crane Hire has taken delivery of two Liebherr All Terrain cranes, a 60 tonne LTM 1060-3.1 and 130 tonne LTM 1130-5.1
The five axle LTM 1130-5.1 is the first Stage V compliant crane in the company’s fleet. It features a 60 metre main boom plus a 33 metre lattice swingaway extension and has been specified with wide wheels and 525-80-R25 flotation tyres to cope with challenging ground conditions. Offering significantly reduced ground bearing pressures it will enable East Cork Crane Hire to comfortably access job sites with soft ground, floating roads or on minor roads.
The three axle LTM1060-3.1 features a six section 48 metre main boom that offers a maximum radius of 40 metres. It has also been supplied with the Variobase outrigger system.
East Cork Crane Hire managing director, Aidan Kelleher, said: “We are really happy to be taking delivery of our first Stage V mobile crane especially with all of the other benefits that the LTM 1130-5.1 comes with. Liebherr continue to lead the industry with their innovation and their machines, along with the aftersales service, enable us to provide our customers with the reliable and efficient service that they have come to know us for.”
Established in 1987, family run East Cork Crane Hire was founded by Tom and Catherine Kelleher and is now run by Aidan Kelleher. The company runs a crane fleet ranging from a 13 tonne Kato city type crane to a 1,200 tonne Liebherr All Terrain crane.
