Liebherrs for Marsden

UK rental company Marsden Crane Services has taken delivery of a 40 tonne Liebherr LTM 1040-2.1 All Terrain crane with a second unit to follow early next year.

The two axle LTM 1040 has a four section 35 metre main boom which can handle 7.4 tonnes at full height or 1.1 tonnes at a maximum radius of 31 metres. Features include a Stage V engine, Liebherr’s VarioBase outrigger set up system and the company's remote control unit which provides operation for all superstructure functions.

The first of Marsden's two LTM 1040-2.1 All Terrain cranes

Marsden Crane Services managing director, Lee Marsden, said: “We are committed to providing the best machines we can for our customers and it is our opinion that the Liebherr LTM1040-2.1 does exactly this. It‘s a great crane that can lend itself to a wide range of lifting operations but with the VarioBase and remote control option is has even greater flexibility. We look forward to our second machine arriving early next year.”
