Electric Faresins for O’Brien

UK rental company M O’Brien Plant Hire has taken delivery of two Faresin 6.26 Full Electric telehandlers from UK distributor GGR.

Faresin’s Full Electric Telehandler offers a six metre lift height and 2,600kg maximum lift capacity. It has a forward reach of 3.1 metres at which it can handle 900kg. The company says that its standard 300Ah battery will last up to six hours of constant typical use, with a recharge time of 1.5 hours from zero with the external fast charger. The standard 110 volt on board charger is also available and can be used for an overnight recharge.

Director Dan O’Brien said: “We like to be early adopters of new technology and we feel that the new Faresin 6.26 Full Electric is a step in the right direction for the industry. Just because these units are electric does not mean that they can only run forks. This machine is fitted with a hydraulic quick hitch for the rapid removal and attachment of implements such as buckets and sweepers, giving it a versatile role on site, in order to cater for our customer’s needs.”

UK building sites are changing and this is something that M O'Brien have recognised and is investing in. The machines have already been sent out to prestigious sites across London and I look forward to working with Dan to expand his Faresin electric telehandler fleet.”
