Another Tadano for Taurus

Austrian crane rental company Taurus Kran & Transport has taken delivery of a 220 tonne Tadano ATF 220-5.1 All Terrain crane.

Replacing an existing 80 tonne ATF 180G-5, the five axle ATF 220-5 has a 68 metre seven section main boom with hydraulic luffing swingaway extension and a second winch. The new crane joins four other cranes in the company's fleet, all of which are from Tadano.

Managing director Martin Beitschek, said: “Our new ATF-220-5.1 will allow us to open up new markets. Tadano cranes all operate in the same way, which means our crane operators can drive and operate our entire fleet of All Terrain cranes. This allows us to be incredibly flexible when it comes to our operations planning.”
