Hydreco and Continental Hydraulics to merge

Italian hydraulic components manufacturer Duplomatic is to merge the US operations of Hydreco, which it acquired from Clyde Bowers Capital in February 2019, with Continental Hydraulics, which it has owned since 2011. Continental is headquartered in Shakopee, Minnesota, while Hydreco USA is based in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

The merged operation company will maintain both facilities, brands and product lines, with Continental focusing on the industrial market and Hydreco on the mobile market. Its products include pumps, valves, controllers, displays and cylinders for products such as telehandlers. Hydreco was a UK based business that was formed out of Hamworthy and David Brown Hydraulics.

The two customer service teams will remain in place but work together with the aim to reach a point where all customers can contact either office for the Hydreco product line.
