Klubb has appointed access sales and rental company CDP Access as distributor for Romania.
Based in Mioveni - two hours north west of Bucharest - with additional locations in Oradea, Târgu Jiu and Chisinau, CDP is an authorised distributor for Haulotte aerial work platforms and telehandlers. It also runs a rental fleet of more than 400 platforms, with a network of mobile service engineers covering the country.
The company will be responsible for selling Klubb van and truck mounted platforms as well as provide training, service and after sales support throughout Romania.
To kick start the partnership CDP took delivery of a 12.5 metre K32 van mounted platform. Mounted on a Renault Master chassis, it offers an outreach of 7.3 metres and a platform capacity of 120kg without the need for stabilisers.
CDP sales director Claudiu Ispas, said: “During our first meeting in Paris we visited the Klubb factory and were very impressed by the general atmosphere inside the company, the quality of the production area and of course by the energy of the team. So, we already purchased the K32 model, which we feel is ideal for the Romanian market.”
Klubb export director, Henri Bourrellis, added: “The highly relevant experience of CDP Access placed them as an innovator with a strong service network in Romania. It’s exactly the type of profile that we need as partner for Klubb.”
