Two Raimondis for Eurogru

German crane sales and rental company Eurogru has taken delivery of two 12 tonne Raimondi MRT234 flat top tower cranes.

The MRT234 has a maximum jib length of 70 metres at which it can handle 2,255kg. Features include the company’s latest deluxe R16 cab, zoning and auto-greasing systems as well as its MoveOne control and SmartLink remote monitoring systems. Both cranes went straight to work on a residential complex in Wiesbaden. They have been set up with a 66 and 70 metre jib lengths and under hook heights of 31.5 and 42 metres respectively.

Eurogru chief executive Nico Di Salvo, said: “The support and efficiency of the Raimondi team in producing, delivering, and installing the machines was essential for this project. The project planning and timing were considered as critical aspects in satisfying the client’s jobsite needs. The challenge was to manage the time of the entire supply chain in the most effective way in order to deliver the flat-tops as per site request. Additionally, the technical team based in Italy provided us with strong and timely support needed in the configuration of each crane, ensuring smoothness of operations.”
