Finnish aerial lift manufacturer Leguan Lifts has appointed FSI Franskan as distributor for France.
FSI distributes a range of forestry/tree care and landscaping equipment - mainly from Scandinavian manufacturers - including wood chippers, stump grinders and hedge cutters. The addition of the Leguan range of spider and semi self-propelled lifts is its first venture into the powered access market and the company has placed considerable resources behind the product line in terms of sales marketing and product support. The company is based in Arçonnay, halfway between Paris and Rennes, and works with regional sales and service partners to fully cover the country.
Jori Mylläri, Leguan vice president sales and marketing, said: “We are proud to have joined hands with FSI Franskan and their professional sales and service teams. Leguans are in high demand among landscaping and tree care companies and FSI Franskan is already well established in this market segment. Their business model emphasises close interaction with customers and excellent after sales support, which are also key values for Leguan Lifts making them a perfect partner to help us establish a strong presence in this key market.”
FSI Franskan chief executive Anthony Duhéron, added: “There is high demand for well-built spider lifts in France because many arborist companies are looking to increase their operational efficiency with the help of access platforms. I have been fascinated by these lifts since seeing the Leguan 190 in operation for the first time in an exhibition. This product will be an excellent addition to our current product portfolio.”
