New 230t for NMT

UK based crane rental company NMT has taken delivery of a new 230 tonne five axle Liebherr LTM 1230-5.1 All Terrain crane.

The new crane features an eight section 75 metre main boom and an 11.5 to 20 metre bi-fold swingaway extension that offsets by up to 40 degrees. Maximum tip height with the extension is 97 metres. Features include VarioBallast, VarioBase outrigger set up and monitoring system, a Stage V power unit with a ZF TraXon transmission, plus ECOmode and ECOdrive as well as remote controls. In the UK the crane can travel with 22 tonnes of ballast without exceeding the 16.5 tonne STGO axle loadings.
