Blackwell Capital acquires Stack

Blackwell Capital Group of Milwaukee has acquired a controlling interest in Stack Equipment, the Hartford, Wisconsin based used aerial lift equipment dealer from Jim Lenahan who retains a stake in the business. No details of the transaction have been released.

Steve Balistreri, managing director of Blackwell Capital, said: “Stack Equipment is a well known source for high quality refurbished boom lifts, scissor lifts, personal lifts and other equipment that is essential at construction and building improvement sites, in industrial facilities, and elsewhere.”

David Osterhaus, who will remain as general manager along will all other employees, said: “We are excited for what the new ownership group brings to our business, which will allow us to grow the business, expand our reach, and provide even more painting and other refurbishing services.”

Joel Nettesheim of Blackwell, added: “The Stack Equipment team does an incredible job refurbishing equipment and working with buyers to finance purchases. There is high demand for this type of secondary market equipment, and Stack Equipment has done an excellent job meeting that demand.”

Stack Equipment was established in 2008 and sells a variety of equipment, including refurbished aerial lifts and telehandlers. It was acquired by Jim Lenahan in 2018 through his Keystone Holdings business.
