Snorkel has upgraded a number of its telescopic boom lifts with higher dual platform capacities.
Its 40ft 400S, 46ft 460SJ, 60ft 600S, 66ft 660SJ telescopic boom lifts plus its 660SJ crawler mounted boom lift now offer a 272kg unrestricted platform capacity, as well as 454kg capacity with restricted outreach. The J models have also been equipped with a new 1.67 metre articulating jib that not only handles the increased platform capacity, but also provides reduced stowed lengths. The upgrades also feature improved controls with a visual indicator to show operators which capacity rating is being used.
Snorkel chief executive Matthew Elvin, said: “We are very pleased to be able to give our customers more capacity and features on already popular models. We know that the increased capacity will be welcomed by our valued customers, and will play a part in delivering enhanced productivity on jobsites around the world.”
The upgraded models are now in production and available worldwide.
