First LTM 1650 in Poland

Polish crane and heavy haulage company Dźwig-Mar has taken delivery of the first 700 tonne Liebherr LTM 1650-8.1 All Terrain crane in the country. The new flagship joins a 130 tonne LTM 1130-5.1 and 350 tonne LTM 1350-6.1 ordered earlier this year.

The eight axle LTM 1650 has been supplied with an 80 metre main boom, up to 91 metres of jib and Liebherr’s Y-guying system. Features include the company’s single engine concept along with its VarioBase and VarioBallast system that can extend the radius of the ballast from 6.4 to 8.4 metres when required. In addition to wind turbine erection work, the new crane will also be used for heavy lifting applications at industrial sites and refineries.
