New Grove dealer in Japan

Grove has appointed crane sales company G Machinery as distributor in Japan.

Based in Tokyo, G Machinery will provide the sales and support for all Grove All Terrain cranes throughout Japan, although the company says it expects its five and six axle models to be of particular interest due to their strong load charts and manoeuvrability.

Shortly after its appointment, G Machinery sold its first two cranes - a 150 tonne GMK5150L-1J and 250 tonne GMK5250XK-1J - to a ‘leading crane rental company’. The GMK5150L-1J features a 60 metre main boom and can handle 11.8 tonne at radius of up to 18 metres. The GMK5250XL-1J features a class leading 78.5 metre main boom. Both cranes feature Grove’s Megatrak suspension and Twin-Lock boom pinning system. The ‘J’ in the model number denominates the cranes have been modified specifically for the Japanese market.
