Another city crane for Auto-Klug

German crane rental company Auto-Klug has taken delivery of another 45 tonne Tadano AC 3.045 (Demag AC 45) city crane.

The AC 45 has a 31.2 metre main boom plus a 7.1 to 13 metre off-settable extension, taking the maximum tip height to over 45 metres. The crane’s IC-1 Plus control system monitors the outrigger set up and slew position to calculate the specific load chart.

Auto-Klug crane operator Jochen Friedrich, said: “We’ve been using these cranes for over twenty years and so know from experience that we can depend on them all the way. City cranes are simply unbeatable when it comes to working in buildings with low ceilings.”

Based in Hof, Bavaria, Auto-Klug offers crane rental, heavy lifting and transportation services from eight locations in Bavaria, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia. It also runs a rental fleet that includes aerial work platforms and forklifts, and has container and towing/recovery divisions.
