Once on site the crane can be plugged into an AC outlet and work all day with limited noise and now emissions. For sites with no power supply a diesel generator can be provided.
The crane will be operated by Simone Bonfanti and Tomaso Ferazzini who said: “Our first impressions of the MK 88-4.1 are extremely positive. The crane’s different steering set-up make it easy to handle out on the road and in tight spaces. Precise operation also means it’s fast and efficient on site.”
Zanoletti’s Joint managing directors Bortolo and Edoardo Zanoletti added: “Liebherr stands for quality, comprehensive service support and reliable availability of spare parts.”
Zanoletti is based in Bergamo was established in the 1950s and began with a 10 tonne Belotti crane moving on to locally built Link-Belts, Marchetti and Corradini machines. It purchased its first 500 tonner - a Demag - in 1991 and started adding truck mounted lifts to its fleet. Today its crane rental fleet extends to 18 units, mostly All Terrains, and it employs 25 staff.
