Shows postponed

In light of the rapid spread of the new Covid 19 variant, two Swiss exhibitions have postponed their January dates.

Baumag 2022 - due to be held in Lucerne from the 13th to 16th January - has been postponed until next year. It will not now open its doors until Thursday, 26th January and run through until Sunday, 29th January 2023.

At the same time Swissbau - due to be held in Basel from January 18th to 21st - will now be held on May 3rd and run until the sixth.

The organisers said: "Last Friday we received a negative order from the canton of Basel-Stadt, in accordance with the Covid-19 regulations, to hold Swissbau in January 2022. This decision is understandable, but disappointing.”
