German location for Alp Lift

The Dutch aerial lift company Alp Lift has opened a branch in Witten, Northern Germany, Alp Lift Deutschland and become the Zoomlion dealer for the region.

The new business was formally registered on 23rd February, with Alp Lift chief executive Jacob Goeman Borgesius, listed as owner and chief executive. The facility includes office space and a hall which serves as a workshop and warehouse with stock including the Zoomlion and Alp Lift products ready for rapid delivery.

Alp Lifrt Germany officially opened its doors yesterday- March 1st - and will offer the full range of Zoomlion platforms, including boom lifts as well as scissors. The local manager is Michael Badura, who joins the company from Etgeton Hebetechnik where he was a director for the past six months. He began his access career in sales with Hedi Hebetechnik in 2007, leaving for Riwal after eight years to join Riwal Deutschland as branch manager in Dortmund. In 2018 he moved to a similar role at Collé.

Alp Lift, which has been selling its own brand of material lifts for more than 30 years, is already a dealer for Zoomlion in the Netherlands, offering machines for sale or rent. Chief executive Jacob Goeman Borgesius, who acquired the business in 2106, said: "With this new branch, we can better support our international growth and continue our partnership with Zoomlion."

Witten is becoming a mini aerial lift hub, being the home of Skyjack’s German subsidiary.
