Platform manufacturer for sale

French manufacturer ATN has been put up for sale following the appointment of an administrator earlier this year.

Insolvency practitioner CBF Associés is seeking offers for the business which had revenues last year of €13 million and employs 56. It is looking for potential buyers to make an offer or express interest by the deadline of June 21st.

ATN is based in Fauillet east of Bordeaux, close to JLG's mast boom plant in Tonneins. The company manufacturers a range of mast booms, plus two self-propelled boom lifts, a big deck Rough Terrain scissor lift and a spider lift.

This is not the first time the company has run into financial difficulties. It was last rescued from insolvency in 2018 by Italian loader crane manufacturer Fassi see: Fassi acquires ATN. It is also the French distributor for Jekko cranes and Sinoboom aerial lifts.

We have requested comments from the current/previous owners but have yet to hear back from them.
