Tadano GR-800EX Rough Terrains for Al Faris

Dubai based lifting and heavy haulage company Al Faris has taken delivery of the 80 tonne Tadano GR-800EX. The new crane features a five section 47.1 metre boom to which a 10.1 to 17.7 metre bi-fold swingaway extension can be added for a maximum tip height of 67 metres, while offering up to 45 degrees of offset. The cranes were sold and delivered by Tadano’s distributor for the UAE - United Al Saqer Heavy Equipment.

The hand over


Al Faris executive director Kieve Pinto said: “The GR-800EX has great performance characteristics, cutting edge technology, high fuel efficiency and the ability to flexibly work with various outrigger spreads and great reliability and more, which is why it meets our needs perfectly.”

The Al Faris Group was established in 1992 and is headquartered in Dubai. It has operations in three business areas: heavy haulage, temporary power for work sites, and lifting projects. The company runs a fleet of around 2,500 heavy duty machines from 11 branches with 3,200 employees, including more than 950 wheeled cranes from small truck cranes to Rough Terrains and All Terrains, along with 80 crawler cranes including lattice units up to 1,000 tonnes and telescopics to 100 tonnes, plus reach stackers, telehandlers and aerial work platforms.
