More Liebherrs for Southern Cranes & Access

UK rental company Southern Cranes & Access has taken the first two of four new Liebherr cranes units, all of which will be equipped with engine shut-down refinery kits.

A 70 tonne LTM1070-4.2 arrived in January, the first in its 2023 delivery schedule. Equipped with a 50 metre main boom with Telematik single cylinder telescoping system, in the UK the four axle crane can travel with most of its counterweight on board.

Director Kelvin Prince said: “We are pleased to take delivery of yet more Liebherr cranes and look forward to the remaining models arriving soon. All of the Liebherr machines are the strongest in their class and will complement our fleet tremendously moving forward.”
