Grúas Aguilar acquires Grúas Serrat

.Spanish crane and aerial lift rental company Grúas Aguilar has acquired Catalonian rental company Grúas Serrat. The deal was apparently concluded at the end of April, but no details of the transaction have been released.

Based in the Barberà del Vallès suburb of Barcelona, Grúas Serrat was established in 1967 and includes three other locations in the Barcelona area, that currently operate as Grúas Palau with locations in Tona to the north of the city, Vilafranca del Penedes to the west and Igualada to the North West. The fleet includes All Terrains to 500 tonnes and a few mobile self-erecting tower cranes. The plan is to continue to run the acquired business as a standalone business within what is becoming the Aguilar group.
