First Sany for France

French crane and aerial lift rental company and industrial services group Foselev has taken delivery of the first Sany All Terrain crane to be delivered in France, a 60 tonne SAC600E.

The three axle crane has a six section 50 metre pinned main boom to which a 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension can be added for a maximum tip height of around 69 metres, while offering up to 40 degrees of offset. The crane is rated at three metres, and can manage 6.4 tonnes on the fully extended boom at a radius of up to 13 metres.

The front and rear axles are driven while all three are steered for a 6x4x6 configuration. Maximum counterweight is 13 tonnes which can be carried on board where 16 tonne axle loads are permitted, alternatively it can travel with 4.2 tonnes of counterweight on board within 12 tonne axle loads. Maximum road speed is 80kph, the overall travel length is just under 12 metres.

The crane was purchased through the Sany crane dealer SNM and will be on its stand at the JDL crane and access exhibition in Beaune next month. SNM says that four and five axle European models will be added later this year with 120 and 250 tonne capacities respectively.
