Italian truck mounted and spider lift manufacturer CTE has appointed Equipment Service as its truck mounted dealer for Northern Germany.
Based in Metelen north west of Munster, near the Dutch border, Equipment Service, specialises in sales and after sales support for aerial work platforms. Just over a week ago CTE announced the appointment of ATG Lift as its truck mounted lift dealer for Southern Germany, while also handling its spider lifts products throughout Germany.
Equipment Service is owned by managing director Dieter Roters, an access industry veteran who spent more than 22 years as service manager for Teupen, followed by two years in the USA with All Access, before returning to Germany in 2016 to start Equipment Service.
The company also distributes CMC spider lifts in Germany and Austria - trading as CMC Deutschland – thus the decision to leave the distribution of CTE’s Traccess spider lifts to ATG. It has also recently added the distribution of Zoomlion self-propelled booms and scissor lifts.

CTE export manager Massimo Franceschi said: “It was a great project that finally came true. Having sometimes worked on CTE products in our workshop, we became convinced about the CTE range while visiting the factory and testing the products in Italy earlier this year.”
