Platform Basket has appointed sales and rental company Elpavas as its distributor in Spain. The company will offer both the scissor lifts and the latest industrial market products including its new tracked mast booms and the tracked carrier cranes from sister company Elma.
The Elpavas rental fleet includes boom and scissor lifts mostly from JLG, spider cranes from Unic and glass handling robots. It also offers a glass and window installation service. The company is based in Gipuzkoa, between Bilbao and Pamplona in the Basque Country, and has been a member of ANAPAT - the national association of platform rental companies - for 23 years. The company’s founder and chief executive Esteban Rentería sits on the board.
Speaking of the new agreement he said: “During our various meetings with the Platform Basket commercial department, I had the pleasure of visiting the company headquarters and the production plants. I was very impressed by the quality of the products, the atmosphere in the company and the focus on innovation, attention to service and the curiosity about complementary sectors. I believe all this is extremely interesting for our current customers, and for future ones too.”
