Skyjack Chief executive Ken McDougall is retiring this week after spending most, if not all of his working life with Skyjack’s parent company Linamar, including a substantial double stint leading Skyjack.
He announced his retirement in June, but the time has now come for him to actually depart. Charlie Patterson is due to take his place in the new year.
Speaking of his departure he said: “As the end of the year approaches so does my retirement. After almost 37 years with Linamar and Skyjack, I am moving in to the second half of my life. I want to thank all of the wonderfully talented and dedicated people I have had the pleasure of working with over the years. Working with such great people and seeing them grow in their careers has been very fulfilling for me. I have made some lifelong friends with work colleagues as well as customers. For that I am truly grateful.”
All of us at the Vertikal Press wish him a very long and happy retirement and hope that this is not the last we see of him.
