After more than 23 years at the same address in Freiburg am Breisgau, our German based team has relocated to new offices at Hofackerstrasse 95 in 79110 Freiburg, around a kilometre and one tram stop away.
Vertikal Germany has moved to the first floor of this building at the intersection of Sundgauallee and Hofackerstrasse
The move was necessitated by our landlord’s wish to use the offices we have occupied since December 2000 for her own buisness. The transfer went relatively smoothly and quickly. Although office manager Nicole Engesser, who led the search for the new location and took care of the large volume of paperwork and registration details, said: “I think I am ready for another holiday.”

The fact that it went so smoothly is largely down to her. In the words of one of our editorial team: “All went very smoothly, even the network immediately worked without any problems when the computers started up at the new location. And that feels great. There are still a few small issues such as call forwarding on the telephone and unfortunately also heating, but we'll certainly get that sorted out quickly. Still much unpacking to do, but ongoing operations take priority.”
