Busy month for LGMG

LGMG Europe has been busy in January with a number of events and initiatives, aimed at expanding and building its distribution network in Spain, Germany and the UK, including the following three meetings or agreements.

Partnerlift listing.

The big announcement this week was the signing of partnership with Germany’s Partnerlift association of independent rental companies, the first Chinese manufacturer to be listed as an approved supplier by the group.

Having completed a detailed product comparison exercise Partnerlift managing director Ralf Gärtner said: “When it comes to scissor lifts, we found many parallels between the providers. In addition to the quality of the boom lifts, the decisive factor was above all a coherent and sustainable service and after sales concept in direct sales.

Co-managing director Kai Schliephake added: “LGMG convinced us with its experience team, including Carsten Sacher in Germany and Vincent Vercaemst in Dordrecht, the Netherlands. We are aware that, depending on the outcome of the ongoing anti-dumping proceedings, the cards may be reshuffled in a few weeks, but we can use the time to gain further experience with LGMG.”

APS visit to Dordrecht

Last week LGMG hosted its UK distributor APS in Dordrecht for a joint strategy meeting including discussion and training on the latest LGMG models, including the 53ft SR1623E Rough Terrain scissor lift, the 46ft AR14J-H articulated boom lift and the 12ft M0407TE mast type lift. machines.

The visitors were given a tour of the Dordrecht premises - which opened in April last year and is responsible for sales and support of the manufacturer's products throughout the region. LGMG said: “A key objective of the meeting was to strengthen the bond and relationships between APS and LGMG Europe, provide input on new products and rethink our joint approach for tomorrow's challenges.”
