London's new training centre

UK based The Mewp Training Centre has opened a cavernous new training centre at Alexandra Palace in North London.

The company already operates training centres in Milton Keynes and Dole, West Sussex to the north of Brighton and had been training Alexandra Palace employees prior to this move. The Great Hall is 116 metres long by 55 metres wide with a ceiling height of 25 metres allowing for larger boom lift instruction.
The Great Hall at Alexandra Palace

Owner Paul Stray said: “We have provided IPAF training to the teams at Alexandra Palace for a long time so this was the next logical step. The courses have been accredited by IPAF and we can host a full range. With the size of the Great Hall, this must surely make it the biggest IPAF training room in the world."
A telehandler course underway

The courses held at the hall will include IPAF training as well forklift and telehandler courses.
