German crane and handler manufacturer has broken ground on an expansion to its US facility in Stanley, North Carolina – to the north west of Charlotte.

Sennebogen opened it's US operation in 2000, initially in rented premises, moving into its own facility with offices, training rooms and a large spare parts warehouse in 2009. In 2013 it expanded the facility, doubling the space under roof. It is now adding a further 15,000 square metres of floor space, taking the total to 145,000 square metres. The additions include three more training rooms and halls, new office space, a large and innovative apprenticeship workshop based on its German one, along with a presentation and demonstration area. The company currently employs 110 staff at the facility, which also covers Canada, Central America, Brazil and Uruguay.
