Axolift chooses Lolex

Italian low level aerial lift manufacturer Axolift has appointed Lolex as its distributor for Ireland and the UK. The agreement includes sales and product support for the full Axolift product line which includes push around and self propelled battery and manually powered mast lifts, along with the recently introduced P300 push around scissor lift, with a five metre working height. The company is currently expanding its distribution network and has already made a number of other appointments this year. It also supplies its products on an OEM basis to Pop-Up in the UK which are sold through the Pop-Up network under its own brand.

Belfast based Lolex was established in 2019 by husband and wife team Trevor and Julie Houston Smyth as an independent service, maintenance and consultancy firm, providing technical support for all types of platforms using CAP Certified engineers. It has represented Sinoboom in Ireland since 2020 and in January added Dinolift to its range. It is now looking to expand its product support and sales efforts in the UK.

Lolex managing director Julie Houston Smyth said: “We are delighted to have been appointed official dealer for the Axolift product range. The Axolift team are super to deal with, the equipment is extremely well built, and representing the whole of the UK & Ireland region ties in perfectly with our current business plans.”

Axolift founder and owner Massimo Grossele added: “We are pleased to now offer our products directly to the UK & Ireland region. Lolex’s extensive technical background as well as sales capabilities make them a good fit for us.”
A ‘soft launch’ for the arrangement was held in Belfast last week to coincide with Lolex hosting a meeting of the UK’s Access Alliance - the association of independent UK regional rental companies - at the Titanic Hotel in the city’s historic Titanic Quarter.
