Genie makes it official in Turkey

Genie has appointed Global Makina as an authorised Genie dealer in Turkey.

The company will sell new Genie aerial work platforms, as well as continuing to provide replacement parts and after sales services for all Genie products in its region as a fully authorised dealer.

Global Makina has been a Genie Authorised Service Provider since 2018 and has acted as a Genie dealer since 2020. It has now signed a formal distribution contract. Founded in 2017, Global Lift Makine operates from a 4,000 square metre site in the heart of the industrial zones in Kocaeli, Turkey, with a team of 25 employees. It operates a full maintenance, repair and overhaul facility in Cayirova, Gebze, in the heart of the industrial part of Turkey slightly south west of Istanbul.

Global Makine general manager Serkan Yörenç said: “Over the past seven years of working with Genie, we have received many compliments and thank you notes from companies that are global leaders in their sectors for providing quality services and products. As we look to the future needs of our customers and region, carbon emission regulations and green trends are bringing more of a focus to electrical machines, and Genie machines are the perfect match to cover this need.
