UK rental company Bronzeshield has taken delivery of its first of three new Liebherr cranes – a 90 tonne LTM 1090-4.2 All Terrain – with another 90 tonner and a 60 tonne arriving in the coming weeks.
The four axle LTM 1090-4.2 features a 60 metre main boom plus a 9.5 to 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension with manual offset to offer a maximum tip height of just under 80 metres. Features include Liebherr’s VarioBase variable outrigger set up and remote control system, along with Ecodrive and Ecomode systems.
Due to arrive shortly is the three axle LTM 1060-3.1 crane with a six section 48 metre boom, topped by a 9.5 to 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension which takes the maximum tip height to more than 67 metres, wiht up to 40 degrees of offset. The crane can carry all its 12.8 tonnes of counterweight within the UK’s STGO regulations which allows axle loads of up to 16.5 tonnes.
Bronzeshield is based near Crayford, Kent, on the south east side of London. Its fleet includes All Terrains up to 500 tonnes, spider cranes and Spierings mobile self-erecting tower cranes. It also has depots in Bromsgrove, near Birmingham and Norwich in East Anglia.
