Kunze breaks ground

German sales and rental company Kunze has ceremoniously broken ground for its new headquarter facility in Bruckmühl, south of Munich. The new facility is only a two minute drive from its current facility.

The new 6,000 square metre facility at Marie-Curie-Allee 7 will accommodate 50 employees with a workshop and spare parts warehouse on site capable of storing 25,000 parts, it will also include meeting and training rooms.

The ground breaking ceremony included managing director Charly Kunze and other members of the management, Florian Kunze-Scheffler, Patrick and Karl Kunze, along with mayor Richard Richter, and Michael Regnauer, managing director, and project manager Florian Schützinger from the construction company Regnauer.

Managing director Charly Kunze said: “The new location will enable us to expand our capacities and create additional jobs in Bruckmühl. We are proud to contribute to the economic strengthening of the Rosenheim district.”
The plot soon to be built on

Kunze was founded in 1988 by Karl Kunze who stepped down in 2022 as his son, Charly Kunze, took over. He founded the company as an aerial work platform dealer covering southern Germany, and particularly Bavaria, later adding a second company, Kunze Rental and Service, to handle a trailer product he had acquired. Today the company runs a fleet of more than 120 platforms.
