Italian rental company Nuova Age has taken delivery of a Raimondi T97 flat top tower crane.
The crane has been deployed on a residential housing project in Milan with a jib length of 40.5 metres at a height of 46.5 metres. Iin this configuration it as jib tip capacity 2.75 tonnes and a maximum lifting capacity of six tonnes in two falls configuration. It is scheduled to stay on site for two years.
It is also equipped with a Lumina cab and features the ConCore control system, which offers instant diagnostics, improved remote access, teleintervention, electronic sensors, and dual control for faster commissioning and precise calibration.
managing director Diego Giovannelli said: “The new model’s jib tip capacity, lifting speeds, and enhanced technology which really helps streamline operation, commissioning, and maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and reliability onsite. The technological advancement of this model really diversifies our fleet.”
A number of Nuova Age staff attended a Raimondi training school focused on the new crane series, with both practical and theoretical classes and ample hands-on experience and instruction on the ConCore operating system.
