First Liebherr for DLH

UK based DLH Lifting Services has taken delivery of its first Liebherr All Terrain, a 60 tonne LTM 1060-3.1, with more units scheduled for later this year.

The three axle LTM 1060-3.1 is equipped with a six section 48 metre boom, topped by a 9.5 to 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension which takes the maximum tip height to more than 67 metres, while also offering up to 40 degrees of offset. The crane can carry all its 12.8 tonnes of counterweight within the UK’s STGO regulations which allows axle loads of up to 16.5 tonnes.

DLH managing director, Terry Humphreys said: “We are really excited to have the LTM 1060-3.1 in our fleet. This is our first crane direct from Liebherr Great Britain and with the new design, we couldn’t be happier. For the last five years, we have been predominantly carrying out contract lifts, but due to demand, we are investing heavily to grow what will be a Liebherr only fleet to provide our customers with the best machines on the market, whether that be contract lifting or general crane hire. We work with a vast amount of tier one contractors and find ourselves in a lot of government establishments and for me, nothing screams precision, safety and cutting edge technology like the Liebherr brand.”

DLH was established at the start of 2015 and is based in Hornchurch on the east side of London towards Basildon and offers contract lifting specialist transport and modular building installation, across the the UK.
