Belgian rail infrastructure company EQOS Energie has taken delivery of a 23 metre Ruthmann TBR 230 truck mounted platform.
The TBR 230 has a four section boom topped by a 2.3 metres jib with 185 degrees of articulation. Maximum outreach is 17 metres with 100kg or 13 metres with the maximum capacity of 250kg.

Arne Samijn of Intra-City Belgium said: "The special thing about this machine is that at less than 3.5 tonnes it is lighter than the trucks we have used so far for catenary construction work.”

Based in Maldegem, EQOS Energie specialises in railway infrastructure and catenary system installation. The new platform, which has been on test for this applications since January and has now been adopted.
