500 tonner for WWN

Brazilian crane rental company WWN Guindastes has taken delivery of a used 500 tonne Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 All Terrain crane, the second such unit to join the company's rental fleet.

The eight axle LTM 1500-8.1 - discontinued at the end of 2021 - features a seven section 84 metre main boom plus Y-Guy superlift system and can be equipped with a 91 metre luffing jib or a 56 metre fixed jib. The crane will be used for applications requiring long reach and high capacities such as tower crane dismantling and precast concrete installation.
The handover

WWN engineer Leonardo Navarro said: "The LTM 1500-8.1 is a versatile and well equipped crane which, thanks to its dimensions, is ideal for use in urban areas. Since we already have an LTM 1500-8.1 in our fleet, we are already very familiar with the machine's functionality and performance. We chose Liebherr not just on the basis of our excellent partnership, but also because the brand is the standard to beat, worldwide. We firmly believe that the value of our fleet will be enhanced further with the purchase of Liebherr cranes."

Based in São Paulo, WWN Guindastes has been providing crane and lifting services since 1997. The company specialises in various lifting applications including industrial relocations, machinery transport, equipment removal and nautical lifting operations.
