Hundrup's first Palazzani

German rental company Hundrup has taken delivery of a 52 metre Palazzani XTJ 52+ spider lift - its first machine from the Italian manufacturer.

The XTJ 52+ provides an outreach of 19.5 metres with 120kg in the platform or 14.5 metres with its 400kg maximum platform capacity. Features include zero tail swing, numerous outrigger positions and the company’s ‘Area Manager’ system which automatically adjusts the working envelope depending on the outrigger set up and weight in the platform.

Hundrup chief executive Stefan Hundrup said: "After a day of testing at Palazzani, we were impressed by the performance of the XTJ 52+. We found the ideal solution that allows us to expand our offering with a high reach tracked platform with exceptional performance for our rental fleet. The machine will primarily be employed in the construction of high voltage lines, where height and stability are crucial for safe operation, as well as in the telecommunications sector."

Laura Gasparini, Palazzani export sales manager added: "We are thrilled to have entered into collaboration with Hundrup Arbeitsbühnen-Vermietung. It's always a pleasure to communicate and deal with professionals. We are confident that the XTJ 52+ will be a key asset in helping them meet the increasing demands of their market and we’ll provide our best support to them.”

Based north of Dortmund in North West Germany, Hundrup has been in business for 30 years and runs a fleet of 350 machines including aerial work platforms, cranes, forklifts and telehandlers. The company also operates an IPAF certified training centre.
