Pewag consolidates UK operations

UK lifting chain manufacturer Pewag has consolidated its UK operations - Modulift, LMS, and Pewag UK - into a single sales structure. The move follows a similar consolidation of the company's North American operations last week.

The company has appointed Andy Charlesworth as UK sales director to head up the integration. The restructure aims to provide customers with a single point of contact for the company's lifting, lashing, and load monitoring equipment, covering the offshore, construction, transportation, and heavy lift sectors.

The manufacturer says the consolidation aims to streamline operations and enhance customer service through an integrated supply chain.
