Manitou's financials

Manitou has published its financial results following the release of its detailed sales numbers at the end of January. See: Steep declines for Manitou

To repeat those top line sales numbers:
Full Year sales for 2024
New equipment sales €2.25 billion -9%
Parts and services €409 million +3%
Total Revenues €2.66 billion -7%

We can now add:
That pre-tax profit declined 11.5 percent to €172.7 million, this due to higher sales, marketing and administration costs, and a sharp rise in financial costs. On the positive side net debt was reduced by 4.9% to €370 million.

Chief executive Michel Denis said:The group closes the fiscal year with a financial performance in line with its forecasts, with a recurring operating profit of 7.5% of net sales, increasing in comparison to 2023. This performance is the result of all the industrial, commercial, and financial actions carried out throughout the year, despite a 7.5% decrease in revenue and significant disparities across sites and geographic areas.”
